Evidence ladder

What the research does—and does not—show.

Studies vary by dose, route, population and formula. A study on an oral supplement or another topical preparation cannot be transferred directly to Bomi. We link the source and state the boundary.

01

Topical ingredient study

Pumpkin seed oil in female pattern hair loss

A randomized comparative trial followed 60 women for three months. It studied a pumpkin seed oil treatment, not the finished Bomi formula.

02

Oral ingredient study

Pumpkin seed oil in male pattern hair loss

A 24-week randomized placebo-controlled trial included 76 men. The intervention was an oral 400 mg supplement, so it cannot be treated as evidence for a topical Bomi serum.

03

Measurement method

Standardized photography for scalp coverage

Clinical research uses paired global photographs to monitor change. This supports Bomi’s matched-photo guidance; it does not validate the product itself.

Inside the bottle

Three disclosed formula building blocks.

The ingredient list describes what is in Bomi. It does not convert the product into a medicine or promise a specific biological outcome.

01

Olive oil

Olea Europaea Oil

An emollient carrier used to soften the scalp and help the formula spread in a thin layer.

02

Pumpkin seed oil

Cucurbita Pepo Oil

A botanical oil containing fatty acids and phytosterols. Published ingredient studies are context, not proof of Bomi’s efficacy.

03

Proprietary lipid blend

Bomi BioLipid Complex™

Bomi’s combination of botanical lipids, developed for scalp feel, controlled spread and a practical nightly routine.

What Bomi can claim

A lightweight, plant-based cosmetic serum for targeted scalp application. It conditions the scalp and supports a consistent nightly care routine.

What still needs evidence

The finished Bomi formula has not been tested in a controlled clinical trial. We do not claim it blocks DHT, treats disease or guarantees regrowth.

Sudden, patchy or unexplained shedding can have medical causes. Speak to a qualified clinician instead of relying on a cosmetic product alone.
